My father passed away on November 2nd, 2010 due to complications arising from a stroke in the 11th hour of his recovery. There’s no recorded history of any MG patients surviving a stroke, and he was no exception.
In my case, Ive seen an improvement over
4weeks period under its natural treatment
program. My chornic fatigue syndrome has
stopped due to yeast infection. Now, im
better off than before. Thanks to it. Anyway,
u mispelled the site name. That should b:

Thank you this was very informative and helpful. I am struggling with a lot of difficulty breathing lately and the doctors are having trouble figuring out why.
Excellent and very well explained. This information has helped me very much with recognition of sleepiness vs weakness and MG. Thank you for posting this information. How is sleep apnea treated?
There is hope for MG, my son was 6 years old when he got really sick with Myasthenia Gravis, and he had the Thymectomy in 2006 since than he has been ok. Read his story on squidoo.com it’s called “Bradley’s Myasthenia Gravis”, it will give you hope!
I urge everyone with mg to take a look at this woman blog and then you will have an understanding of what you are up agains Google her name and see for yourself. Freya ross .

My father is currently in the hospital being treated for what started out as an MG breathing crisis 3 months ago. He’s been in the hospital since, making frequent trips to ICU, coded twice, and has been intebated 3 times. He’s in ICU right now(10-18-10)for a week, and isn’t a victim of his MG, but is a victim of crappy doctors. We are trapped at Lourdes Hospital and we cannot afford to send him to somewhere competent like Ochsner in NOLA. The doctors tending to him now are killing him. Help.

I don’t know if it’s 100% curable…but I’ve had MG since I was 4, & I find that if I excercise enuf, I feel better 4 a whil. (Somtimes I “almost kil myself” w t excercise…but it really feels better afterwards. I hope t doctor wil answer ur question…but if he doesn’t, put the words, “MG is 100% curable” on ur browser, & c what u get! ( I recently read that “Cancer is a fungus….it can be cured with sodium bicarbonate!” Weird..but possib! Many hidden cures out there…: (

The worst its written in several web sites. BUT the worst thing you can do to yourself in a moment of mg crisis is to panic. Try to remain as calm as possible. Lie down and try to listen to some meditating music that will help your fear turn into peace. Trust God and you will be ok.
Its really an up and down battle. I take MG a minute at the time. Fear is an enemy of MG cause it causes anxiety thereby making symptoms worse. To me the oposite of fear is trust in God. So when I’m going through my mg crisis I fix my eyes on God. I soon get better. Then I don’t have to go the hospital. As far as Mestinon. Oh boy. On day the dose is great. The next its too much and I guess that’s even more scary than no mestinon.

I have mg also. I’m taking mestion. My daughter started having similar symptoms during the Summer. I took her to the pediatrition and she dismissid my concerns saying is not genetic inheritant. Do you have any sugestions?
Hi Elena,
There are another group of drugs called steroid sparing agents. These agents are known to be very effective for patients suffering from MG and their symptoms did not improve with prednisone.
You can discuss this option with your doctor.
By the way, it is normal to gain weight while you are taking prednisone. Your weight gain as well does not mean that the drug is not working for you.
I hope that you get better soon.

I have alot of support form my family and friends and i hope to come out of this relapse they put me back on cycolsporine and i am getting plasma pheresis twice a week. I am lucky to have to family i have i wouldn’t be able to do it without them.
I was 10 when i was diagnosed, i am now 21 I have had a very rough journey with mg, I have been intubated 12 times from myasthenic crisis from 10 to 15 i was in and out of the hospital, life flighted, and tubed. When i turned 16 they put me on cyclosporine and it helped me so much i felt normal for the first time in a long time, I am now going through a relapse because i was taken off some of my meds, it is a very hard time for me right now but i find if i keep myself positive i feel better.
