I’m 13 years old and I have JRA.I’ve had it since I was 6 weeks old. We’ve tried alot of treatments but it looks like I’m stuck with it. I can’t do sports with my friends. I miss out on a lot. During p.e. I have to sit out and watch everyone else have fun. It isn’t fair. I take daily medication. I have a hard time walking up stairs. I’m just glade I can walk. It’s sad to know other kids have it too. Hopefully their treatments work. Hang in there Bailey
your not alone

i was in tears watching this video, and i can truly understand how her parents feel as my little girl was diagnosed with same condition when she was just 22 months old. shes 2 and a half now and last july had steroid injections (5 in total) which really helped her, but unfortunitely the arthritis is now back and sadly one of the places it affects her is in the neck. shes actually due to start methotrexate tomorrow. i wish there were a cure for all these poor children, its so heartbreaking. xx

May God bless you Bailey, and your entire family to have to endure this horrific disease!! I cried watching your video.. My daughter also has JIA, just diagnosed last June. It truly is a difficult and heartbreaking journey to watch your own child suffer and to wait and pray for treatments to work..if …We are praying for a cure, for your precious Bailey, for my daughter, and all kids with JIA.
