The Michigan Attorney General’s contact page is www.michigan.gov Andrew Shirvell has taken a voluntary leave of absence. Let’s make sure he doesn’t return. I’ll be sending this video to miag@michigan.gov. Maybe his ambivalent boss, Mike Cox, needs to go too. Anderson Cooper/ Andrew Shirvell interview: www.youtube.com Anderson Cooper/ Mike Cox interview: www.youtube.com www.nytimes.com www.facebook.com ———————- As for an article explaining what happened to Tyler Clementi: www.guardian.co.uk -direct transcript- “His last words, posted on Facebook about 10 minutes before he died, were brief and to the point: “Jumping off the gw bridge sorry.” The comment gave no hint of the torment and mortification that lay behind the decision of gifted 18-year-old violinist Tyler Clementi to throw himself off the George Washington bridge last week. The cruel details began to emerge today when the body of a man believed to be Clementi was dragged out of the Hudson river at the northern end of Manhattan. At the same time, charges were brought against two of his fellow first-year students at Rutgers university in New Jersey. Like him, they are both 18. They have been accused of invading Clementi’s privacy. One was Dharun Ravi, his roommate at college, the other Ravi’s friend Molly Wei, who had a room on the same corridor. On the evening of Sunday 19 September, according to the account given by police, Clementi asked his roommate to give him some time alone in the room they …

This guy is a HUGE faggot!
P.S. Love the mushroom T!
Thanks you. There is too much hate of every intolerant kind going on right now. Period! They are all connected (by those who only feel tall if someone else is made to feel small), as surely as we are all connected.
Gay men rule
Straights are afraid that gay men are getting more power…its called gay panic!
u understand water drinking dude! u really do!

Ian. I am not your friend!
There is so much gay hate right now and I feel every day…
Hey it’s Chris, Ian stay consistent on a particular topic dude haha but nice commentary. No shit, glad that douche from Michigan eventually got fired.
Actually, you’re STILL an idiot. And you’re the ultimate point-misser because the vast majority of your haters such as myself called you out a lot more for your asinine attention-whoredom and general douchery than a lack of intelligence. Though you really aren’t very smart, either.
u kinda look like Chris Atkins from Blue Lagoon
That is not like you, Ian. You typically do not mind what people have to say about you, as all of this is just a big social experiment at the end of the day, and more comments means more views of your videos, which is a good thing. Why are you being so sensitive? I was not trying to be malicious, so I apologize if that is how I came across. I shall endeavor to behave more respectfully, although it is interesting that you dish it out in copious amounts but recoil when it is deflected.

If you rip at me again in comments I’m going to block you.
If you want to learn something on YouTube (as a rule I don’t plug people and their channels, but shall make an exception in this case), check out the channel “thouartthat.” I promise you will have your fill of learning by becoming a regular on his channel. I happen to believe him to be one of the most progressive thinkers of his age I’ve ever come across. I have great faith that his thoughts will be the groundwork of contemporary thought in philosophy of the future. One can learn much from him.

If you are going to try to satiate your appetite for knowledge by investing in physics, you are going to find yourself quite hungry more often than not. Physics is a notoriously complicated subject, for many reasons, and as a rule, what we know about “modern” physics has only come about over the past 70-90 years, and we have a lot to learn. Indeed much of what we think we know now is only circumstantial and theoretical, so I think you should go to medical school and into neurology.

I feel flattered by your statement of being interested in me. I cannot imagine why, but I am a human being, so I shall take your words at face value. I am not sure to which “three” people you are referring, but if one of them is Crossland, you will have to count me out. Ian struggles with serious discussions and his attention waivers quickly. Moreover, neurology really is not my cup of tea, so I do not know how much I would have to offer, although I thank you for thinking about me all the same.

i use the word “learn” is because I want to take everything I can in. Keeping that in mind, if I accepted everything on youtubbe at face value, I would think I would LEARN very little. The only reason I said you seemed to come off as having “known better” is because from a non-longitudinal perspective the term narcissist (or narcissistic son of a bitch) clearly showed some feelings as well as some thoughts. To me, it translated as something more. Anyway, what line of work are you in?

reason I am interested in the subject. I should clarify though, I only hold a BA in psychology and my main interest was Neuro. At the moment I am interested in finding where my true beliefs are, and i fear that the only place that ever seems to yield enough answers to satiate my appetite would be physics. I know this is a somewhat contrived response to you, but I want to make clear that I have no intention of “jabbing” anyone on here. I’m simply around to learn (hopefully), and the only reason

problem in Neurology still comes in understanding the mind. There is definately a distinction between mind/self, especially if you concern yourself with behaviorist or psychoanalytical interpretations of the self. I do find that when you take away brain processes, there is always some point where we say the “essential” properties of the mind or self do disappear. You can’t usually say it’s one processor (ie: any of the lobes, the limbic system, or the brain stem) responsible, and for that

: You have interested me quite a bit to be honest. I feel ike the three of us would have some good conversations. As far as Neurology is concerned, myself and many of the professors i have had the privelage to learn from, think the self is definately not defined any particular system (biological) in the brain. That’sknown as the Hummuncular fallacy, orthe idea that there is a tiny man in the brain making all the decisions (a brain within the brain). I actually feel like the biggest

…title of narcissist is a kind description and hardly an insult. Others have far worse to say of and about him, of that you can be certain. He delights in spurring his audiences, so I suspect even Ian would agree that he is a self-important attention-seeking individual who starves for notoriety, at any cost. I do not know if I am a philosopher, but I am a thinker, so it is no insult. I like to think I have an open mind concerning most things. Someone in my line of work must keep an open mind.

I am not sure to what experience you are referring, but your suggestion not to go through it as having “known better” is neither relevant nor wanted. I never made an overt or subtle statement that I somehow knew better than anyone concerning anything, so where you are getting your source material, I know not. I have been watching Ian’s videos for some time. I am not sure what your familiarity level is with him, but if you had a longitudinal perspective of Ian, which I have, giving him the…

…spiritual, and that frustrates me on many levels. As far as “perpetuating [the] idea of self,” I do not think I was doing any such thing in my comments to Ian. I was reacting to the remarks he made in the video because they hit a personal level in my life. I will say that there is an “actual distinction of a self.” It is called individuality and the ability to think for oneself. What would be the point to attaching a label to what we already know as the “mind” and as “self?” Seems silly.
