From it He created its spouse, and from both of them scattered many men and women.” Holy Qur’an, Surah An-Nisa’ (4), Verse 1 I dedicate this part of my book to our beloved sisters, whom out of respect I call: The jewels of Islam. First of all, a reminder: Everything good is from Allah (swt), and any mistake is from me, as I am only human. Islam deals with women in a comprehensive way in the context of her relationship with Allah, her Creator and Lord, with herself as a part of humanity, and with man, her partner and natural spouse in the family. During the presentation below, keep in mind the rights that other societies grant them in comparison to the rights to which Islam has entitled women. It is noteworthy that Islamic teachings are attentive to the needs and rights of the weaker gender throughout her life: as a daughter, sister, wife
